Tech Two critical PHP vulnerabilities: our admin panel was patched 65 minutes after the release
Today the PHP project released fixes for two critical vulnerabilities that allow remote code execution. Most of WorkAdventure runs on Node.js, but our admin panel runs on PHP. Articles Your WorkAdventure world can now start Zapier and n8n workflows
A recording is ready, a visitor signs up, someone withdraws their consent, a member walks in. Zapier and n8n can now react to all of it, with native WorkAdventure triggers that set themselves up. No webhook URL to copy, and no code.
Release Note WorkAdventure 1.34: analytics, raise your hand and visitor management
WorkAdventure 1.34 is now available! The headline feature is analytics, which shows world administrators how their world is used. This release also adds a raised hand for meetings and audiences, a visitors list with a privacy policy per world, reworked webhooks, and kick and ban from inside the game. It also includes a long list of everyday improvements.
Articles Turn your virtual space into a lead magnet
Every visitor who walks into your virtual space has already told you who they are. Three switches in the admin dashboard turn a showroom, a demo map or your own office into a source of qualified, consent-backed leads. And a webhook plus n8n pushes them straight into your CRM.
Articles Your world, your privacy policy
Until today, WorkAdventure had one privacy policy covering everybody. Starting today, each world has its own, generated from your configuration and naming you as the data controller. Here is why we split the relationship in two, what the generated policy contains, and what it means for you concretely.
Tech Sharp video without melting your CPU: how WorkAdventure picks codecs
A screen share whose text you cannot read, a webcam that stutters, a laptop fan taking off in a four-person bubble — these are three views of the same trade-off. Every conferencing tool in your browser runs the same four codecs, so quality is not a matter of having a better one. It is a matter of deciding, on each machine and at each moment, how much CPU and how much bandwidth a good picture is worth.
Articles Measuring the energy cost of animations in WorkAdventure maps
Animated tiles raised my test laptop's power draw by 30%. Here is why, and how giving all your animations the same frame duration recovers most of it.
