Web Summit Rio: WorkAdventure participated in the Latin American tech convention
WorkAdventure had the pleasure of participating in the Web Summit Rio 2025 event by showcasing our product on a stand, networking with different international startups, and listening to the conferences proposed by the convention.
Web Summit Rio is part of the global events series organized by Web Summit all around the world: Lisbon, Doha, Vancouver, Hong Kong, and Rio are the main locations of this tech convention.
The purpose of this modern gathering is clear: to create a space and software that enables networking and strong connections between CEOs, founders, investors, media, politicians, and cultural figureheads.
With more than 34,000 attendees, 500 investors, and 1,400 featured startups, Web Summit Rio became a meaningful space where companies, entrepreneurs, and institutions were able to display their innovative products and services for the attendees and present investors.
A place for learning: the conferences in Web Summit Rio
From April 27th to 30th, Web Summit Rio wasn’t only a big networking event, but also a space dedicated to education and dialogue. Conferences about SaaS, AI, marketing, commerce, corporate, fintech, and sustainable development were included throughout the schedule of the event, thanks to the active and collaborative participation of 442 speakers.
Although our time availability was tight, we made some time to witness “Cryptopia”, a conference about Trump’s pro-crypto administration and its impact in Latin America and the rest of the world.
Showcasing WorkAdventure in Latin America
WorkAdventure had the opportunity to exhibit our virtual world platform on an assigned stand, where people could pass by and test all the new features our interface offers.
The attendees who tested WorkAdventure were completely amazed after witnessing the neat performance of our Open AI-powered bots. For instance, the participants were impressed with the language flexibility of our bots, being able to switch between English and Portuguese whenever they were asked to.
Partying at the night summit
At the end of every journey, Web Summit participants were invited to join the night summit experience, a moment dedicated to embracing the vibrant rhythm of Rio’s Bohemian nightlife.
During the night summit, all the attendees were gathered in different neighborhoods to drink, network, and dance, immersing in Rio’s festive atmosphere. For instance, Leblon, Barra, and Botafogo were the selected neighborhoods for the night event.
Moreover, the event’s organization granted more than 80 food trucks, 4 bars, a gaming area, live entertainment, and a DJ’s service.
